bread and fruit casserole
This is one of those depression recipes -that has been carried over from year to year and new fruits added along the way. It really started out with apple slices ,apple juice and seeded grapes.

Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar (granulated sugar)
- 1/2 cup oleo, (margarine or butter)
- 4 large eggs
- 5 slices white bread, cubed (homemade) use a thick bread -country style
- 11 ounces can mandarin oranges,drained
- 8 ounces can crushed pineapple and juice
- - dream whip (cool whip)
How To Make bread and fruit casserole

Step 1Cream, oleo and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Stir in oranges and pineapple with juice. Fold in bread cubes. Pour into greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350^ for 50 to 60 minutes.. Serve warm with Dream Whip.
