Mom has been making this for as long as I can remember. Today I'm trying my health way by switch some of the sugar for Truvia for the filling I'm using the Truvia Baking Blend and for the topping using the regular Truvia.

Ingredients

PEACH FILLING MIXTURE

12 large
peaches, peeeled and pitted, thickly sliced
1/4 c
truvia baking blend
1 Tbsp
cornstach
1 tsp
lemon juice, fresh
1/2 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1/2 tsp
freshly grated nutmeg

TOPPING

4 c
bisquick mix
2 Tbsp
truvia
6 Tbsp
butter, cold
1 c
milk
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 Tbsp
sugar, sprinkled on top

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven 375F grease 10X14 glass baking dish. In 4-quart saucepan, mix peaches, Truvia, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix gently and cook over low heat about 10 minutes or until peaches are just tender and syrup has thickened. Pour into baking dish.
  • 2In large bowl, stir together Bisquick mix and 2 tablespoons granulated Truvia. Using your hand (two knives or pastry) blender, cut in butter until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Add milk and vanilla, and quickly blend together with hands or spatula.
  • 3Drop heaping tablespoonfuls biscuit mixture on top of peaches, covering them completely. Sprinkle with 2 to 3 tablespoon granulated sugar and dust with cinnamon.
  • 4Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 5Cool and serve with milk or ice cream
