Mom has been making this for as long as I can remember. Today I'm trying my health way by switch some of the sugar for Truvia for the filling I'm using the Truvia Baking Blend and for the topping using the regular Truvia.

Ingredients

  • PEACH FILLING MIXTURE
  • 12 large peaches, peeeled and pitted, thickly sliced
  • 1/4 cup truvia baking blend
  • 1 tablespoon cornstach
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • TOPPING
  • 4 cups bisquick mix
  • 2 tablespoons truvia
  • 6 tablespoons butter, cold
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, sprinkled on top
  • SPRINKLE SUGAR AND SOME MORE CINNAMON ON TOP

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 375F grease 10X14 glass baking dish. In 4-quart saucepan, mix peaches, Truvia, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix gently and cook over low heat about 10 minutes or until peaches are just tender and syrup has thickened. Pour into baking dish.
  • Step 2
    In large bowl, stir together Bisquick mix and 2 tablespoons granulated Truvia. Using your hand (two knives or pastry) blender, cut in butter until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Add milk and vanilla, and quickly blend together with hands or spatula.
  • Step 3
    Drop heaping tablespoonfuls biscuit mixture on top of peaches, covering them completely. Sprinkle with 2 to 3 tablespoon granulated sugar and dust with cinnamon.
  • Step 4
    Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Step 5
    Cool and serve with milk or ice cream
