One spice mixture that I always had difficulty finding and needed occasionally when cooking an English recipe that called for it was called Mixed Spice. The shipping cost of course was much more than the spice mix itself, so I thought I would find the mix for this and make it myself when needed. This recipe makes a great substitute!
