I make this often, because it is so easy,, and great to make when company comes..kids love to eat this too...Other jello and drained fruit can be use too...

Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup dairy sour cream
- 8 ounces tub of thawed cool whip
- 3 ounces pkg. hawaiian harvest jello or lime jello
- 20 ounces can pineapple chunks, drained well
- - chocolate chips or maraschino cherry for garnish
How To Make cottage dessert

Step 1In a large bowl , combine cottage, sour cream and jello, dry right from the box. Stir to blend well.

Step 2Fold in whipped topping. Fold in drained pineapple. Chill till set. Spoon into dessert dishes. Top with a cherry of chocolate chips.

Step 3This mixture can also be spread into a chocolate cookie pie crust and chilled...cut and serve as pie, top with nuts and cherry.
