Ingredients
- 2 - pie crusts ready made,or homemade
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 7-8 - peeled and sliced apples
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4-1/2 cup raisins
- 2 tablespoons fresh apple cider
- 3 tablespoons butter
- GLAZE
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons fresh apple cider
How To Make apple pie glazed with cider sugar glaze

Step 1Place crust dough in to pie pan. Heat oven to 350 degree's.

Step 2peel and slice apples in to 16 slices each. Mix sugar,spices,and flour together. Toss with the apple slices ,and raisins in a bowl.

Step 3drizzle the cider over the apples. Dot with butter. Place top crust on top of it,and crimp edges. Put slits in top of crust to vent for steam. Cover outside of crust with foil. remove foil half way through baking time. Place in oven and bake about 40 -50 minutes, or until apples are tender. Pie is golden brown.

Step 4Making the icing. Combine all ingredients together and stir until blended well. Remove pie from oven. While pie is still hot frost the pie. Cool and serve!
