I love decorative frosting for cakes, cupcakes and cookie decorating; especially for events and bake sales. My mother is way better at decorating than I though.

Ingredients For pastry tube decorative frosting

  • 1/2 c
    crisco shortening
  • 1 box
    powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c
    hot water
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp
    vanilla or other flavoring

How To Make pastry tube decorative frosting

    Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix on SLOW speed with electric mixer. Do not beat or whip.

    Mix in food coloring if desired.
