Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter,melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple,drained

How To Make gradma's best pineapple fritters

  • Step 1
    Mix the dry ingredients,put aside.In separate bowl beat the egg,milk and butter.
  • Step 2
    Mix the dry ingredients and the liquid mixture until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Add lemon juice and pineapple.Drop into hot deep fryer using a teaspoon.Fry until golden brown.
  • Step 4
    Remove,pat excess oil off with paper towel.Roll in sugar or powdered sugar while hot.
