Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 6 tablespoons butter,soft
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries,chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract strudel:
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter,cold
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make cranberry muffin tops with strudel or orange glaze

  • Step 1
    Mix flour,baking soda, and baking powder.
  • Step 2
    Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Step 3
    In a separate bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, and vanilla.
  • Step 4
    Alternativly add to butter mixture dry ingredients and buttermilk mixture.Slowly add cranberries.
  • Step 5
    Drop spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with strudel.
  • Step 6
    Bake in 350 F for 20 -25 minutes or until it has lightly browned edges.Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. You can also glaze them with orange or lemon glaze.Using 1 cup powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons orange or lemon juice.
