Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1/3 c
    buttermilk
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter,soft
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 c
    fresh or frozen cranberries,chopped
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract strudel:
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter,cold
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make Cranberry Muffin Tops with Strudel or Orange Glaze

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix flour,baking soda, and baking powder.
  2. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Alternativly add to butter mixture dry ingredients and buttermilk mixture.Slowly add cranberries.
  5. Drop spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with strudel.
  6. Bake in 350 F for 20 -25 minutes or until it has lightly browned edges.Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. You can also glaze them with orange or lemon glaze.Using 1 cup powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons orange or lemon juice.
