Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 large apples (cored, peeled and sliced)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- - vanilla ice cream
How To Make warm apple saute with ice cream

Step 1Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and stir until melted. Add apple slices and saute 6 to 8 minutes.

Step 2Add brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and dried cranberries. Cook for 2 minutes more.

Step 3Scoop the ice cream into dessert bowls and top with the warm apples. Refrigerate any leftovers. May substitute raisins for cranberries if you prefer.
