For a Strawberry Shortcake you can refrigerate then take out and add fresh strawberries & whipped cream later. Try this!

Ingredients

  • 1 - betty crocker super moist butter recipe cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 - egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 7 ounces nestles fat free sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 package fresh strawberries, fresh
  • - whipped topping

How To Make strawberry dream cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 350 F. Let eggs become room temperature. Approximately 1 hr. Whip room temperature egg whites to stiff peaks. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Beat water & oil into dry ingredients being sure to smash all the clumps. Then lift egg whites into batter and gently folding thoroughly without flattening egg whites.
  • Step 3
    Pour batter into greased cake pans and bake approx. 25-30 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Slice strawberries thinly. When cake is cool. Place sliced strawberries between layers. No cream needed between the layers! Pour condensed milk in circles all over top layer of cake allowing some dripping. Serve on individual plates Adding sliced strawberries & topping w/ whipped cream.
