A wonderful dessert made w/ frsh apples. You can always toast the pecans first in a 400 degree oven for about 8-10 mins to bring out their flavor more. I serve w/ homemade whipped cream.

Ingredients
- 5 large granny smith apples, peeled, cut into thick chunks
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
How To Make slow-cooked apple crisp w/ pecans

Step 1Spray a 6-quart slow-cooker w/ cooking spray. Place apples in cooker. Drizzle w/ lemon juice and stir to coat.

Step 2In bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Cover, cook on high for 2-1/2 hrs. Sprinkle w/ pecans and serve.
