My boyfriend loves apple desserts, good ol' apple pie being his favorite. But any recipe containing cooked apples and spices will do. Can't wait to make this one for him!

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 6 large
    tart apples
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • ·
    vanilla ice cream

How to Make GLAZED CINNAMON APPLES

Step-by-Step

  1. Peel, core, and cut each apple into eight wedges; transfer to a 3-qt. slow cooker. Drizzle with lemon juice.
  2. Combine the sugars, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small bowl; sprinkle over apples. Drizzle with butter.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or until apples are tender.
  4. Serve in dessert dishes with ice cream.
