    butter, softened
  • 1 small
    egg -- or -- if using larger egg, beat egg in a cup and use half for recipe, and save other half for something else
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/4 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    fresh blueberries
  • TOPPING

  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make BERRY BERRY BLUEBERRY

Step-by-Step

  1. In a small bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Gently stir in blueberries and add to the sugar mixture.
  3. Spread mixture into a greased or sprayed 8-inch square or round baking pan.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the topping ingredients together until they resemble coarse crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over batter.
  5. Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
