These Cookies Melt in your Mouth. Tip; You can Drizzle a white glaze over these & add a Cherry on top of each for a Festive Buttery Holiday Cookie Platter treat. Note: No Egg & No Milk in this recipe, is not an error.

Ingredients

  • SHORTBREAD COOKIES
  • 1 cup butter (room temp)
  • 1 teaspoon rum or vanilla extract (or any flavor of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup pdr sugar ( icing sugar)
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • - optional: cherries, chopped nuts, or sprinkles for decoration

How To Make whipped heavenly shortbread cookies by freda

  • Step 1
    Preheat Oven @ 325 degrees. Note: (do not grease Cookie sheets) WHIP butter Until Light & Fluffy. Add Flavoring, Whip well
  • Step 2
    Add Pdr Sugar, Cornstarch, Flour & Salt, Mixing Completely
  • Step 3
    Fill your Cookie Press, &, or Drop by teaspoons on to Ungreased Cookie Sheet. (Optional) Cherries, Nuts, & Sprinkles can be added Now, then baked.
  • Step 4
    Bake @ 325 Degrees for 8-10 Minutes. ( Do not let these Brown)
