1/2 cbutter (1 stick) softened and partly melted
1/2 cshredded wheat cerial crushed
1/2 cquick oats (uncooked)
1 tspvanilla extract
1 tspbaking powder
1/4 calmonds, slivered
3/4 tspcinnamon, ground
1/2 cspelt or other flour
How to Make Tastee High Fiber-No Sugar Breakfast Cookies
- In a bowl mix the egg and butter. then add the vanilla and baking powder mixing well. add the shredded wheat, oats, and flour and mix well then fold in the slivered almonds.
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees and drop the cookies onto a cookie sheet and bake for 11-13 minutes. Remove from pan and put on plate to cool.
