Started a no sugar diet and was wanting a cookie. The smell is heavenly while it is baking and the taste is wonderful.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) softened and partly melted
- 1/2 cup shredded wheat cerial crushed
- 1/2 cup quick oats (uncooked)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup almonds, slivered
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/2 cup spelt or other flour
How To Make tastee high fiber-no sugar breakfast cookies

Step 1In a bowl mix the egg and butter. then add the vanilla and baking powder mixing well. add the shredded wheat, oats, and flour and mix well then fold in the slivered almonds.

Step 2Preheat oven to 350 Degrees and drop the cookies onto a cookie sheet and bake for 11-13 minutes. Remove from pan and put on plate to cool.
