Ingredients
- 1 stick butter softened
- 1 large egg
- 2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup oatmeal (i used rolled oats non instant)
- 1 1/4 cups flour (more if needed to make a firm batter)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup assorted chips (i used milk chocolate and peanut butter)
How To Make oatmeal chip cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Mix egg, butter, baking powder, vanilla, salt, and sugar together until fluffy. Mix in the oatmeal and flour then fold in the chips.

Step 3Drop by spoon fulls onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges start to brown. Do not over bake.
