How to Make Lorraine's Best-ever Sugar Cookies
- Cream sugars and margarine until fluffy. Mix in oil and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Add 4 cups of the flour, and all of the soda and cream of tartar and mix well. Add in remaining flour and mix well. Drop by small cookie scoop on parchment lined baking sheets. Press with a glass that has been dipped in water and then in sugar. Bake for 10 minutes at 350. Remove from pans and let cool. These freeze well.
