Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/3 cups powered sugar
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 bag chocolate chips
  • 2 blocks almond bark
  • 1-2 tablespoon shortening

How To Make peanut butter eggs

  • Step 1
Cream butter, peanut butter, vanilla. Add powdered sugar and graham crackers and mix. You want it to be stiff. Shape into egg shapes using a plastic egg (half of the egg).
  • Step 2
Place on wax paper and freeze. till your chocolate is melted and dip your eggs and put back on wax paper to cool Or set in frig to set.
  • Step 3
Melt the chocolate chips or bark with the Crisco (it helps the chocolate to stick) - I use my double boiler to melt the chocolate. Dip the eggs into the chocolate and place back on the wax paper to cool or place in the fridge to set.
  • Step 4
Great for the Easter basket. You can be creative and make any shape.
