Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1-1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 3 - eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nuymeg
  • 1 - 21 oz can apple pie filling
  • - whipped cream

How To Make slow-cooked pumpkin-apple cake

  • Step 1
    In lg bowl, beat butter and brown sugar. Beat in pumpkin and eggs. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Step 2
    Slowly beat butter mix into flour mix. Spoon pie filling into 6-quart slow cooker. Pour batter over filling. Cover, cook on high for 1-1/2 hrs. Garnish w/ whipped cream.
  • Step 3
    Just a suggestion, but I always spray the inside of the slow cooker w/ cooking spray to prevent sticking.
