Ingredients

1/2 c
butter, softened
1-1/2 c
light brown sugar
1 c
canned pumpkin
3
eggs
2 c
flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
cinnamon
1/4 tsp
nuymeg

21 oz can apple pie filling
whipped cream

How to Make Slow-cooked pumpkin-apple cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1In lg bowl, beat butter and brown sugar. Beat in pumpkin and eggs. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • 2Slowly beat butter mix into flour mix. Spoon pie filling into 6-quart slow cooker. Pour batter over filling. Cover, cook on high for 1-1/2 hrs. Garnish w/ whipped cream.
  • 3Just a suggestion, but I always spray the inside of the slow cooker w/ cooking spray to prevent sticking.
