- Add 1/4 cup cooled syrup, and the cream. Using a spoon, mix all ingredients together thoroughly. You might need to add more milk if necessary as the batter should be on the loose side. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with the back of a spoon. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes or till the top is darkish golden brown and the edges are browned.
