Ingredients

  • 2(15 oz) cans pumpkin, canned or cooked
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg,ginger and salt
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (or almonds)

How To Make pumpkin pie cake

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients except cake mix,butter and nuts.
  • Step 2
    Pour pumpkin mixture in 9 by 13- inch pan.
  • Step 3
    Mix cake mix and butter like pie crust to make crumbs and sprinkle over pumpkin mixture.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle on chopped nuts. Bake for one hour at 350 F. Cool and serve with Cool Whip.
