orange crush cake
A friend of mine that lives in Denver sent me this recipe. The cake is cool and very refreshing...the prefect ending to a bar-b-q. hope you enjoy it as much as I have, let me know what you think.

Ingredients
- 1 box orange cake mix
- 1 sm box orange jello (not sugar free)
- 1 can orange crush soda (not diet)
- 1/2 stick butter
- 3/4 box powdered sugar
- 3 ounces cream cheese (not fat free or reduced fat)
- 1/4 cup orange crush
How To Make orange crush cake

Step 1Bake cake as directed on the box for a 9x13 pan

Step 2Dissolve the Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, and instead of cold water use a cup of chilled orange crush soda. Stir well

Step 3As soon as the cake is out of the oven poke holes all over the top with a fork. slowly pour the jello/soda mixture over the top of the cake.

Step 4Chill for one hour.

Step 5For the icing...mix the butter and cream cheese well

Step 6Add the sugar and mix

Step 7When fully incorporated add enough of the soda to allow you to easily frost the cake easily
