brown sugar, firmly packed

all purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
salt
3 tsp
cinnamon
3/4 c
( 1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 c
sugar
1 pkg
3.4 oz. instant vanilla pudding mix
1 pkg
3.4 z. instant butterscotch pudding mix
1 tsp
vanilla
4
eggs
1 c
water

How to Make Ol' Kentucky Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oven to350*. Butter a 9x13 inch pan. In a small bowl, combine walnuts and brown sugar; mix well. Set aside.
  • 2In another small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; mix well.
  • 3In a large bowl; beat butter until fluffy. Add sugar and pudding mixes; beat until smooth. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Alternately add flour mixture and water, beating well after each addition. Pour half of the batter into the buttered pan; top with half the walnut mixture, cover with remaining batter and walnut mixture.
  • 4Bake at 350* for 40-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. serve warm......Enjoy!
