    walnuts, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 3 tsp
  • 3/4 c
    ( 1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 pkg
    3.4 oz. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 pkg
    3.4 z. instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1 tsp
  • 4
  • 1 c

How to Make Ol' Kentucky Cinnamon Coffee Cake


  1. Heat oven to350*. Butter a 9x13 inch pan. In a small bowl, combine walnuts and brown sugar; mix well. Set aside.
  2. In another small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; mix well.
  3. In a large bowl; beat butter until fluffy. Add sugar and pudding mixes; beat until smooth. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Alternately add flour mixture and water, beating well after each addition. Pour half of the batter into the buttered pan; top with half the walnut mixture, cover with remaining batter and walnut mixture.
  4. Bake at 350* for 40-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. serve warm......Enjoy!
