this is a good diabetic pleaser i like it for breakfast with coffee but its good anytime!

Ingredients

  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • - sugar substitute for 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water, warm
  • 1 - egg
  • 21/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat margerine
  • 2 tablespoons low-calorie orange marmalade
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - vegtable cooking spray
  • 1/4 cup low-fat margerine
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange rind
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened orange juice

How To Make oh la la orange streusel cake

  • Step 1
    Dissolve yeast and 1/4 teasppon sugar substitute in warm water in a large bowl; let stand 5 minutes, add egg, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
  • Step 2
    Add 1 cup flour, 2 tablespoons melted margarine, marmalade, and salt. beat until smooth. gradually add 1 1/4 cups flour to make a soft dough, stirring until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface, and knead until smooth and elastic(8 minutes). Place dough in a bowl coated with cooking spray, turning to grease top.
  • Step 4
    Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, about 50 minutes or until doubled in size. punch dough down. press dough evenly into a 9-inch round or square baking pan coated with cooking spray.
  • Step 5
    Combine remaining 1 teaspoon sugar substitute, remaining 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup melted margarine, orange rind, and orange juice; stir well, and sprinkle over dough. cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts for 25 min or until doubled in size.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 375 f for 30 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean. serve warm ummmmm
