Ingredients

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    cocoa, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 1/2 c
    miracle whip salad dressing
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    hot water
  • ·
    frosting:
  • 1 jar(s)
    ready made frosting (i use white)
  • 1 pkg
    8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1
    small cool whip whipped topping

How to Make My Chocolate Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all the cake ingredients together well; all but the hot water, add it lastly, stirring lightly as batter will be thin.. that's ok, this is a very moist cake!
  2. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan, bake at 350* for 35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean..
  3. Cool Completely and Frost: Mix softened cream cheese with the frosting and beat with a mixer until smooth, add in the cool whip and continue beating with mixer to mix well!...
  4. I just love this chocolate cake, with fluffy white frosting! I'm hoping it will become your favorite too!! Enjoy..!
