This is my favorite go to cake; for potlucks, church luncheons and birthday parties; It is so moist and flavorful! Enjoy :)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa, unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup miracle whip salad dressing
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • - frosting:
  • 1 jar ready made frosting (i use white)
  • 1 package 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 - small cool whip whipped topping

How To Make my chocolate cake

  • Step 1
    Mix all the cake ingredients together well; all but the hot water, add it lastly, stirring lightly as batter will be thin.. that's ok, this is a very moist cake!
  • Step 2
    Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan, bake at 350* for 35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean..
  • Step 3
    Cool Completely and Frost: Mix softened cream cheese with the frosting and beat with a mixer until smooth, add in the cool whip and continue beating with mixer to mix well!...
  • Step 4
