The addition of pure coffee extract in this recipe gives this cake the WOW factor! It's also SUGAR FREE!! Now your really can have your cake; and eat it too!! Oh! and on the picture; EVERY DAY is chocolate cake day!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar substitute (swerve)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 teaspoons pure coffee extract
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk, or almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • - frosting:
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar substitute (swerve)
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons coconut or almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure coffee extract

How To Make gluten free better than sex chocolate cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350* Grease bottom and sides of 2 9" round cake pans; with coconut oil, set aside
  • Step 2
    Sift together first 4 ingredients, then add the eggs,extract, milk, water. Beat with hand mixer until thoroughly mixed then add in slowly; the melted coconut oil and mix well
  • Step 3
    Divide batter between the two pans evenly and bake for 22 min. or until top springs back when lightly touched, let cool
  • Step 4
    Frosting: In a food processor or blender or coffee grinder; blend the sweetner until it is almost powder; then sift with cocoa together
  • Step 5
    add the remaining ingredients to the cocoa powder mix and beat on medium speed with mixer until fluffy. This frosting will frost the middle and top of the cake... Enjoy!!
