This is my family's favorite time of year and we spread a great amount of cheer by baking Christmas cakes, cookies, and bars. You name it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 teaspoons instant coffee powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 2 tablespoons gingerbread spices

How To Make gingerbread bundtcake

  • Step 1
    Mix flour, baking soda, almond meal and spices. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a small sauce pan, boil until dissolved: butter, sugar, coffee, honey and milk. Let it cool.
  • Step 3
    Add dry ingredients to the butter and honey mixture. Add an egg yolk one at the time.
  • Step 4
    Beat egg whites until stiff and slowly add to the batter.
  • Step 5
    Grease the Bundt cake pan. Bake for 50 minutes in a 350 degree preheated oven.
  • Step 6
    This bundt cake comes with white vanilla frosting, but I like it with chocolate frosting too.
