Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 - can cherry pie filling
- CRUMB TOPPING
- 3/8 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons margarine, softened
How To Make coffee cake using pie filling

Step 1Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs, sour cream and vanilla.

Step 2Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda. Beat into batter.

Step 3Spread half of the batter in a prepared 13x9 pan. Spoon pie filling over batter.

Step 4Spoon remaining batter over filling and spread carefully to cover.

Step 5Mix crumbs and sprinkle over batter.

Step 6Bake at 325 for 50 - 60 minutes.
