  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3-4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make buttercream frosting

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl with electric mixer at low speed, combine sugar, butter, milk and vanilla. Beat at medium speed 1-2 minutes until creamy. Makes about 4 cups.
