I use this to decorated my Sour Cream cut out cookies, and my cakes. It's creamy and fluffy, and spreads well.

How to Make Buttercream Frosting

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl cream butter and powdered sugar on low until combined. This can be messy so slowly beat.
  2. Add vanilla and enough of the cream, a little at a time, just to get the desired consistency for frosting.
  3. If you want to color this. I would suggest using a paste, or gel, food coloring.
