I got this recipe from a close friend of mine. It seems like a lot of ingredients but it's so worth it, I have never gone back to a different sugar cookie recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    margarine
  • 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 51/2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make Vanilla Almond Sugar Cookies!

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix together dry ingredients, set aside.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the dry mixture. You can use a spoon or a hand mixer.
  3. Once combined into a thick dough, shape into balls about a spoon full and place onto greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
