ultimate chocolate chip cookie
These make a crispy, yet soft in the middle choc chip cookie. The recipe came from a mag clipping and must have been from the Crisco folks, bc there is a pict of butter flavored crisco in the bottom of the recipe.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter flavored crisco
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons milk or cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 large egg
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (i like the minis here)
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make ultimate chocolate chip cookie

Step 1Pre heat oven to 375°

Step 2Combine Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.

Step 3Beat until creamy, then add the egg into the creamed mixture.

Step 4Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda, add into the creamed mixture.

Step 5Stir the nuts and chocolate chips into the batter.

Step 6Either spray cookie sheets with non stick spray or use parchment paper.

Step 7Drop cookies about 1 inch apart by rounded tablespoons, or do what I do and use a disher. I prefer the disher bc it makes the cookies all the same size.

Step 8Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, being carefull not to over bake.
