- 1 cup sugar
- 4 ounces (about 1/3 cup) ground almonds
- 4 ounces (about 1/3 cup) ground walnuts
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Step 1In a large bowl, beat eggs well and add sugar. Beat till sugar is dissolved, and add ground nuts.

Step 2Gradually add flour, mixing with a spoon; then melted butter and cinnamon, mixing till well blended.

Step 3Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for about 10 minutes, till edges are just slightly brown.

Step 4Cookies will be soft. Remove from cookie sheet and allow to harden.
