This was gave to me years ago by a friend, it was her mothers recipe. I really like this cookie and it' became a family favoret.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup white karo syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups rice krispies
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
How To Make scotcharoos

Step 1in a pot mix 1 cup sugar, and karo syrup. bring to a boil, add peanut butter, and mix well to desolve.take off heat and let stand while you mix the next ingreiednts.

Step 2in a large bowl put rice krispies, and pour cooked mixture over the cereal and stir well to mix.

Step 3then pour into a lightly greased baking sheet and press down well .

Step 4melt the chocolate chips and the butterscotch chips in a double boiler, then spered over the cereal mixture. cool until hardened cut into bars .
