How to Make MY MAILMAN'S FAVORITE SUGAR COOKIES
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream the butter and sugar.
- Blend in the egg yolks and vanilla.
- Add the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Mix just until blended. Mixture will be somewhat crumbly.
- Form into walnut-size balls, or larger if you want a bigger sugar cookie.
- Roll cookie balls in plain or colored sugar or sprinkles.
- Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for about 8 - 12 minutes. Do not let these get brown.
