Mrs. Wolfe's Sugar Cookies
Her recipe for sugar cookies has always been a favorite in my family. My brother's first comment was, "These cookies are GOOD."
Sometimes I sprinkle nonpareils in the dough, especially for holidays. They look festive like that.

2/3 ccooking oil
2 tspvanilla extract
2 call purpose flour, sifted
2 tspbaking powder
How to Make Mrs. Wolfe's Sugar Cookies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, beat eggs with a fork. Stir in oil and vanilla.
Add sugar, stirring until mixture thickens.
Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
- Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with greased fork or bottom of glass which has been dipped in sugar.
- Bake about 8 to 10 minutes until light golden brown.
Remove immediately from baking sheet to cooling racks.
