Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 1 package (3.0z) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make meltaways (no egg cookies)

Step 1In medium bowl, cream butter until fluffy. Add cornstarch and sugar and blend well. Beat in flour until thoroughly mixed.

Step 2Drop by small teaspoons onto baking sheet & flatten with bottom of glass. (Dip glass in powdered sugar to prevent sticking.) Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire rack and frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Step 3CREAM CHEESE FROSTING Mix all ingredients together and stir until smooth. Color with food color if desired.
