- 8 cups all purpose flour , not self rising
- 1/3 cup baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 8 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1 cup crisco shortening, only
How To Make homemade bisquick mix

Step 1Measure out the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and shortening into a deep mixing bowl.

Step 2Mix ingredients together with a hand held mixer or a food processor.

Step 3The mix will look like coarse meal. Store mix in a covered container in the refrigerator.

Step 4Use this mix the same as the store bought kind. Do not sift.

Step 5Keeps 4 to 5 months in refrigerator.
