Ingredients

  • 8 cups all purpose flour , not self rising
  • 1/3 cup baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 8 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup crisco shortening, only

How To Make homemade bisquick mix

  • Step 1
    Measure out the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and shortening into a deep mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
    Mix ingredients together with a hand held mixer or a food processor.
  • Step 3
    The mix will look like coarse meal. Store mix in a covered container in the refrigerator.
  • Step 4
    Use this mix the same as the store bought kind. Do not sift.
  • Step 5
    Keeps 4 to 5 months in refrigerator.
