Since my husband and daughter are dieting they have been misserable. You see they both have sweet tooths and miss the baked goodies. Well needles to say I took pity on my poor hubby and daughter and decided I would create low fat also Atkins friendly recipes to help liven up their lives while on these diets. Here is one of them Enjoy

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup splenda or similar
- 1/2 cup apple sauce (sweetened)
- 1/2 cup eggbeaters, egg replacment
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cups oats, regular
- 1 cup peeled and chopped fresh apples i use gala or fuji

Step 1Cream Splenda and applesauce together, Beat in eggbeaters.

Step 2combine 1/2 cup of Oats (1 cup) baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg & salt.

Step 3Stir dry ingredients into sugar mixture until well blended.

Step 4Fold in remaing oats (1 cup) & cubed apples. Drop dough on parchment paper lined cookie sheets.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for 12/15 minutes, Cool and enjoy
