I got this recipe from a sister-in-law many years ago. These little gems are so good and sweet, it is hard to stop eating them!! They are a Christmas favorite at our house1

Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    eagle brand milk
  • 1-1/2 c
    chopped dates
  • 1-1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 10 oz
    pkg ritz crackers
  • 2 (3oz) pkg
    cream cheese, softened
  • 2-1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Date Snack Crackers

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine milk, dates and nuts. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm. Spread level teaspoonfull onto each cracker. Place cracker on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool.
  2. Beat cream cheese; add sugar and vanilla, beating until smooth. Frost cookies. Keep refrigerated.
