  • 1/4 c
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2 large
  • 1 1/4 c
    bisquick baking mix
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1 c
    cut up dates
  • 4 oz
    jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped (about 1/3 c.)

How to Make Cherry Fruit Chews


  1. Mix butter, sugar and eggs; stir in bisquick.
    Gently fold in nuts, dates and cherries.
    Spread dough in a greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350^, for 30 minutes; cool slightly and cut into
    1 1/2- inch squares.
