PS you can switch up the blueberries for any berries you choose
1 cquick oats
1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
2 1/2 cfresh blueberries
8 ozcream cheese softened
How to Make Blueberry Bars
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix everything except blueberries together and press 1/2 of the mix into a greased 8x8 baking dish.
- Cover with blueberries and cover with remaining mix. So you have a sandwich effect.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until done.
- With additional option:
1 (8 oz) cream cheese (softened)
I like adding this in small chunks when I add the blueberries, making it a wonderful quick morning breakfast with coffee and juice
