Ingredients
- CRUST
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar, granulated
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 2 - eggs
- FILLING
- 1/3 cup apricot jam
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/3 cups ground almonds
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- GLAZE
- 1/2 cup strained apricot jam
- 1-2 teaspoon almond liqueur, orange juice, or water
How To Make apricot almond tart

Step 1CRUST: Combine first three ingredients in a food processor or with a pastry blender until crumbly. Add eggs, mixing dough to form a ball. Press dough with floured fingers into bottom and sides of an 11 inch flan pan.

Step 2FILLING: Spread jam over bottom of crust. Combine remaining ingredients except sliced almonds, mixing until smooth. Spread over jam in crust. Sprinkle with almonds.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35-40 minutes, or until golden.

Step 4GLAZE: Combine glaze ingredients. Spread over warm tart.
