Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c
    powdered baking cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    quick cooking oats
  • 1 c
    walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Apple Walnut No Bake Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Simmer applesauce gently for 5 minutes in a saucepan. Add sugar, butter, and cocoa. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and immediately add the quick oatmeal, walnuts, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls or Tablespoon onto foil . Keep refrigerated. Enjoy!
