My aunt gave me this recipe. She used to make it for church all the time and it would get gobbled up so fast. It's very moist. Great w/ a little cream cheese.

  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/3 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 1/2 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
    honey
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    shredded zucchini
  • 1/2 c
    semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    dark chocolate baking chips

How To Make moist chocolate zucchini bread

    Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 5" loaf pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, whisk together flours, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and baking soda.

    In another bowl, whisk together sugar, oil, honey, eggs and vanilla. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Fold in zucchini and both the semisweet chocolate chips and the dark chocolate chips.

    Pour batter evenly into pan. Bake 70-75 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool. Invert and carefully remove bread onto a plate. Let cool before slicing. Store wrapped in plastic wrap in refigerator up to 1 week.
