creamy rich chocolate frosting
My mother taught me this recipe many many years ago and it's the best chocolate frosting I've ever tasted. The half and half makes it extra rich! 10-12-2016

Frosts a 9x13" cake or 12 cupcakes
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup cocoa, unsweetened
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup half and half
How To Make creamy rich chocolate frosting

Step 1In a medium bowl, stir cocoa into melted butter and blend thoroughly.

Step 2Add powdered sugar and half and half, alternately, into cocoa mixture, beating until spreading consistency. Add the vanilla.

Step 3Add more half and half if needed to reach proper consistency. Frost completely cooled cake or cupcakes. Makes about 2 cups frosting.
