- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar

How To Make chocolate icebox dessert
-
Step 1Combine water, sugar and cocoa. Boil for 6 min, let cool. (Letting it cool is an important step if you want it to be creamy and fluffy in the end.)
-
Step 2Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add 3 egg yolks, beat well. Add marshmallows, chocolate sauce and nuts. Mix well.
-
Step 3Beat egg whites to a hard peak, fold into chocolate mixture. (I some times add a 1/4 tsp. cream of tarter and 1 tsp. of sugar to help it stiffen up)
-
Step 4Crush graham crackers. Spread half of the crumbs in a 9X9 pan. Pour in mixture on top of crumbs. Sprinkle remaning crumbs on top.
-
Step 5Place in icebox (refridgerator) over night before serving.
