blizzard peppermint bark

I suggest eating it within a day of making it, because I gave it to a few people like four days or so after making it and I felt it had gotten slightly chalky. Sugar is a delicate and temperamental (temper? haha get it!?) thing, especially when heating. This recipe requires you to melt chocolate, whatever method you use just remember that it is delicate. I used a double boiler, but it should be known that if even a tiny drop of water gets into the chocolate, or if it is heated too fast, the sugars in the chocolate with go crazy! And you will end up with chocolate that seizes up into a mash mess
