This is a recipe my mother used and her mother before her. You can use a candy thermometer or just test your candy mix in a cup of cold water if you are familiar with that method. I grew up with the cold cup method however since this is usually something I only make at holiday time, I use a candy thermometer on the first batch of the year.

How to Make Peanut butter fudge


  1. Prepare a pie or dinner plate by buttering or spraying with non stick spray
  2. In a sauce pan Cook the first four ingredients to soft ball stage and remove from heat
  3. Stir in the peanut butter until mixed then pour into your buttered/sprayed plate
  4. Cool and cut
