peanut butter fudge
This is a recipe my mother used and her mother before her. You can use a candy thermometer or just test your candy mix in a cup of cold water if you are familiar with that method. I grew up with the cold cup method however since this is usually something I only make at holiday time, I use a candy thermometer on the first batch of the year.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons light karo syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup peanut butter, creamy or crunchy, your choice
How To Make peanut butter fudge

Step 1Prepare a pie or dinner plate by buttering or spraying with non stick spray

Step 2In a sauce pan Cook the first four ingredients to soft ball stage and remove from heat

Step 3Stir in the peanut butter until mixed then pour into your buttered/sprayed plate

Step 4Cool and cut
