How To Make mrs. wilson's boston creme candy
-
Step 1Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, except nuts. Cook to it forms soft ball( 236^) on candy thermometer)or when tested in cold water. Remove from heat and cool 10 minutes or so. Add nuts; beat until stiff and has lost it's gloss. Pour onto a buttered platter. Refrigerate until set.
-
Step 2If you don't want to use a buttered platter, you can pour into a buttered parchment paper or buttered waxed paper lined pan- makes it easy to remove and cut when set.
